Eating is one of the fun thing you can do on Folégandros. I'm amazed over the good quality of the restaurants and taverns on the island. I would like to say that many of the taverns are focused more on quality then quantity based on local high quality vegetable and meat.

Folégandros is not a partying island, on the contrary. Compared to islands like Ios, Kos, Santorini, Paros and Mykonos, this is a very quiet island. However, if you love to listen to music, have some drinks and dance there are possibilities even on Folégandros.

I don't think you should visit an island like Folégandros, with the attitude of having to do a lot of things. For me the main thing is to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the island.

On my photo section I have a special folder called 2003-trekking, in which I have many wonderful photos from the beautiful spring landscape of Folégandros. During Easter 2003 Folégandros was exceptionally green, the landscape full of flowers everywhere, because of much raining the previous winter.

There are some nice beaches on Folégandros. First of all, there are several beaches Northwest of Chóra. You can reach them by bus. From the different bus stops, you then have to walk on footpaths, down to the varying beaches.
